Hayley Bolding has an extensive background in international development, education and volunteering in Australia and Asia. She is the co-founder of (Atma ), an NGO based in Mumbai, India. Hayley was awarded Young Australian of the Year (Vic) in 2013. == Background == Hayley Bolding was born in Melbourne and grew up in Lakes Entrance, Victoria, Australia. Bolding graduated from RMIT University with a Bachelors in International Studies in 2001. Prior to founding Atma she worked with CanTeen, an Australian organisation that supports young people living with cancer. At 23 Hayley travelled to India and founded the NGO (Atma ). Under Hayley's leadership, Atma moved from a start-up to a well respected non-profit engaging multiple partner organisations and impacting over 60,000 beneficiaries (as of 2015). Atma has been nationally recognised for its Atma volunteer program and international chapters in Australia, Canada and The Netherlands. Hayley successioned out of Atma in 2011 and now heads Atma's International Fundraising Chapters. She is a Board member of the (Victorian Australia Day Committee ), a Steering Committee Member of the (Australia India Youth Dialogue ), and is a (Asialink Leaders Program ) Alumni. She has also previously held roles at The Australia India Institute and Melbourne University.
